Deck Building Basics Class

Poolshark's Thursday Night Magic League is a Commander League only right now.  We have a variety of players playing precons to fully customized decks. 

You can sign up from the main page.  You do need to be part of Pools discord to play.  You do not need to be a subscriber, just a member of his discord. 

Since this is a casual fun league and people are busy we have the following in our Rule 0 for our Casual tables to speed up game start.

1. All shuffling takes place on camera. 
2. Draw 10 - Discard 3 - Reshuffle.   If you get less than 3 lands you can shuffle/redraw.
3. Modifications to Rule 0 can take place at any table as long as the whole table agrees. 

There are going to be 3 types of table available. However we are constantly evolving. 

1. Beginner - Super Casual for folks just learning. The table is for helping players and letting them know how spells work.  This is normally Precons and we let folks make mistakes and we help teach them.  We are here to help each other learn the game and make new friends
2. Precon Only - Casual play with precons for those just learning the game or that have yet to modified decks. 
3. Casual - We have fun, we play, we use modified decks/precons/playtest new decks.  Little stricter with rules, the table governs itself and we all work together to make rulings on redo's or mistakes.   
4. Rumble - Highly Modified decks.  More competitive.  Standard rules.   

We do as a community.  Discord is the best place to ask questions, get additional info, find friends to play outside of Thursdays.   It's free, it's open to all, and we all work together to make it a great experience.
